"Peoples of the Earth" is a project that has been in the makings for many years.
Over the past 15 years individuals have spent many long hours typing and
archiving information on the evangelization of peoples of the world. These files
are the result of that work. We have identified and archived several thousand names
of peoples of the world. Along with these names we have tried to research information
on each people group. Much of the data is derived from Global Prayer Digest, a monthly
publication that seeks to identify and publicize the needs of these peoples for the
message of the Gospel. Other publications have been used each with varying levels accuracy
in the information.
OTHER RESEACH
Other efforts have been made over that last few years to archive and profile Unreached People
Groups in the world that yet need to hear the Gospel of Christ. These files have been useful
in researching those more complete reports. There are a few drawbacks to the AD2000 effort - namely
they have of necessity restricted the UPGs to groups of over 10,000 in number. We are not so
restricted here. We are interested in tracking ethnic groups wherever they are. We have made

OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of this presentation is to inform Christians the world over of peoples of the
world. The average Christian is unaware of ethnic cultures besides their own. Our hope and
prayer is that these files will be used to promote loving prayer for these world's peoples.
Please use these files for informing your church congregation of the needs around the world.
PRACTICAL USE
We encourage you to use these files for "Moment of Missions" or "Spotlight on Missions" in
worship services preceeding a time of prayer for the people group. We would also like to
see these files used in creative ways such as in mini-dramas presenting the needs of the
people.
