"Lost Teddy Bear"

Characters:
   MC: Master of Ceremonies
   Puppet: Any puppet will do

MC: Good Morning Milton

PUPPET:(Milton comes out with a handkerchief over his head and crying)
Good morning

MC: What's the matter with you? (She takes off the handkerchief.)

PUPPET: Boo hoo, I can't stand it anymore.

MC: You can't stand what? (helps him blow his nose.) What's can be so
wrong? Did you hurt yourself?

PUPPET: No.

MC: Are you sick? All this crying doesn't do any good. 

PUPPET: No.

MC: Why are you crying? Why are you so sad? Did someone die?

PUPPET: (Shouts while crying) It's worse than someone dying!  I'm
never going to sleep again! I think I'm going to die!

MC: Milton, please!!!  I want help you but you have to tell me what is
wrong.

PUPPET: (crying) The problem is that I think I am going to die of
homesickeness. 

MC: Die of homesickness!  What are you homesick for.

PUPPET: I miss my teddybear! He was my best friend and I lost him. I
can't bear to live without him. Please help me find him!  (He starts
to throw things out of the Ark looking for him.

MC: OK. Kids, let's help Milton find his teddybear. Look under your
seats everybody! (Of course they find nothing.)

MC: Milton, let's think about this a minute. Where did you see you
teddybear last?

PUPPET: Well, let me think. I think it was yesterday morning when I
ate breakfast after... after...after...

MC: After what?

PUPPET: Well after that I went... I went 

MC: Went where?

PUPPET: Well, I went to the bathroom. You know why!

MC: And then what did you do?

PUPPET: After that... then I left the bathroom... I LEFT MY BEAR IN
THE BATHROOM!!! Excuse me !  I have to save my teddybear!  (Leaves
quickly yelling for his bear. Then returns rejoicing carrying his
teddy.) I found him!!! I found him!  My teddybear. I'm so happy I want
to sing and dance!

MC: Milton, do you know that Jesus feels sad just like you did?

PUPPET: No I didn't. Does Jesus cry?

MC: Yes, Jesus cries. Do you know when it is that Jesus gets sad and
cries?

PUPPET: No, when?

MC: Jesus cries when you or me, or any child gets lost.

PUPPET: Do they get lost in the bathroom?

MC: No, not in the bathroom. But we are all lost in our sins and they
will be lost forever without Jesus. But Jesus loves little children
and he searches for them with all his heart just like you did with
your teddybear.

PUPPET: WOW! I didn't know that!

MC: Yes, and did you know the Bible says "All we like sheep have gone
astray. We have turned everyone to his own way, but the Lord has laid
on him the iniquity of us all. That means Jesus gave his life to find
and save us. So whoever hears Jesus' voice and believes in him will be
saved. When any boy or girl trusts in Jesus as their Savior the angels
in heave rejoice just like you did today.

PUPPET: I never knew that. I didn't even know that I was lost!  I'm so
glad Jesus found me! Thank you Jesus!  When I go to bed tonight I am
going to get on my knees and thank Jesus for finding me. See you next
week!
