"The Easter Bunny"

MC: Come on kids, let's call our friend Milton. Hey MILTON! 

Puppet:Good Moring people!  Happy Easter!

MC: Thank you Milton, and a happy Easter to you too.

Puppet: Is everything ready?

MC: Well I think so. Everything is ready for Sunday School.

Puppet: Great! (He begins searching around frantically searching for
Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies, then not finding any he says...)
Well, where are they. I can't find them.

MC: Find what. Milton what are you looking for? 

Puppet: Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies!!!  Where did you hide them!
(He begins searching again)

MC: Milton, listen up!  Listen to me. There aren't any chocolates
here!

Puppet: What! No chocolates! But you promised!!!  You said that today
was going to be Easter in Noah's Ark. You tricked me. You lied. What a
lousy Easter!

MC: Milton, just a minute. Easter is not about chocolates and Easter
bunnies!  Easter is a celebration of the resurrection fo Jesus Christ
our Lord and King. He is alive, not dead. This is more valuable than
chocolates and Easter eggs.

Puppet: So what! You still tricked me.

MC: Milton, you tricked yourself. I never promised you any chocolates
and Easter eggs. You came up with that one yourself. But I did promise
a surprise for you and I do have a surprise for you today. I brought a
special guest with me today to meet you. Come up here little friend.

Bunny: (Easter Bunny appears from down below)  


Puppet: It's the Easter Bunny!  Wow! I knew the Easter Bunny really
did exist where else would all those Easter candies come from?

Bunny: Shakes head indicating NO! Then whispers something in the MC's
ear.

MC: Milton, he says he didn't bring any candy. He came to worship and
honor Jesus and to hear the real story of Easter - the story of the
resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Puppet: Really? OK, I guess if the Easter Bunny wants to hear about
Jesus so do I. Hey, Bunny let's go downstairs and listen while MC
tells the story of the resurrection, and maybe when she is done we can
find some of your stash of chocolates.
