Mission CoursePerspectives
Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is a 15-week missions
course taught by pastors, veteran missionaries and strategists from
around the country. The program is operated out of the US Center for
World Mission in Pasadena, California, but coordinated by local
churches and volunteers.
Perspectives is a huge reading manual on missions and mission strategies
through the ages. As one C&MA pastor testifies, "I thought we in the
Alliance were missionary minded. Until I took the Perspectives course. I
did not realize how far we are from missions minded.
You may sponsor a Perspectives course by signing up to attend a regional
class offered in your area (recommended for its exposure to non-alliance
missions passion) or the Text Book, Teachers Guide, and most recently
videos can be purchased for in-house presentation of the course.
CAUTION This is not a Sunday School type course. It is college and
graduate school material. The required text book reading alone will stagger
the average C&MA person. Yet, this course will change your life. Serious
study of this material will make you a "World Christian."
